Grinding Equipment for Processing CaCO3
CaCO3 (Calcium Carbonate) and its usage:
Calcium carbonate is a chemical compound with the formula CaCO3. It is a common substance found in rocks in all parts of the world, and is the main component of shells of marine organisms, snails, coal balls, pearls, and eggshells. Calcium carbonate is the active ingredient in agricultural lime, and is created when Ca ions in hard water react with carbonate ions creating limescale. It is commonly used medicinally as a calcium supplement or as an antacid, but excessive consumption can be hazardous.

The main use of calcium carbonate is in the construction industry, either as a building material or limestone aggregate for road building or as an ingredient of cement or as the starting material for the preparation of builder's lime by burning in a kiln.

CaCO3 (Calcium Carbonate) Processing:
CaCO3 processing contains crushing plant and grinding plant. There are five basic stages in CaCO3 processing:
1) Excavation from CaCO3 deposits;
2) Crushing the CaCO3 rock;
3) Screening with a multi deckvibrating screen will remove large grains which have not been crushed properly and which may contain impurities;
4) Grinding the sorted CaCO3 rock, CaCO3 sand;
5) Burning may be done in a number of ways involving a range of technology levels and costs. After burning, the CaCO3 would still need to be crushed, screened and, possibly, ground down further in a mill.

CaCO3 Grinding equipment:

CaCO3 Grinding equipment will grind the CaCO3 to just the right consistency and distributes. Clay mineral mills like ball mill, trapezium mill, vertical mill ,Raymond mill, coarse powder mill, micro powder mill are suitable for be using as CaCO3 mill.
Grinding is necessary if the CaCO3 is to be used for high quality plasterwork or for moulding, medical, or industrial applications. Unlike with other cements, such as lime and Ordinary Portland Cement, special grinding equipment for mineral grinding may not be required.
