If you are new in stone crushing industry, you might find it difficult to design a stone crushing line and you want to make it clear when your technician recommend you a scheme. Then, how to get it easier for understanding?

First, don't think you are crushing stones, just impagine that you are making salad. You have got many vegetables and fruit with different size and different hardness.

Then, think about the first step of crushing. To crush tofu, you can use your hand, knife or something to get it into pieces. Thus, to crush soft material like tofu, you just have to use kefid jaw crusher or impact crusher, which will not be worn a lot in short time. If it's meat, knife is the only choice, you can't cut them into pieces with your hand. So, if material is hard, you can only use jaw crusher or cone crusher.

Thirdly, consider how to get material with smaller size. If you want to have salad, some block-shaped or piece-shaped material will be necessary and you might need crumb with quite small size. So, if you need small size material, say below 5mm, vertical shaft impact crusher will be necessary.

Forth, why we need crushing in different steps. That's just like you want to crush bananas into banana juice, you have to crush it into pieces, so that they are ok for the feed opening of the fruit juicer. So, you need jaw crusher for primary crushing; impact crusher, cone crusher and secondary jaw crusher for secondary crushing; and VSI for tertiary crushing.
